Is there any benefit to a 63V as opposed to a 50V cap here?

The actual voltage these caps will "see" is forty-something volts. 50V caps are good enough, but 63V caps are fine too (may be physically larger, depending on brand/model).

Thank you Ti.

Finally making progress on the β24. :D

Main boards are done. V2 sigma 22 boards will be completed this week. Piltron and SumR transformers have been ordered.

Cap ordering stage, thought I'd seen somewhere the size constraints for the 10,000uf caps but now can't find, just reference to Elna or similar, thought I could get Elna part numbers off Ti's photos but can't make them out. Presume High Temp versions best ?
Would appreciate Elna numbers or size contains for standard build as per Ti's photos please.

You can use this ones (or try different supplier):

Very good sound signature and reliability.

Tks BesPav, I thought they'd have to be the high temp 105c versions given the comments about heat in the B24, good to know that 85c is OK, saves a few $s.

For the Class AB version, 85c caps are fine as long as your casing is ventilated. Most of the heat should be external off the heatsinks. For the Class A version I would use 105c caps because of the constantly high temps.

Pavel, what would be KEMET snap in analog of RIFA/KEMET PEH200 screw terminal capacitors?
Does it exist? KEMET ALC10 look kind of close.
For unregulated PSU I plan to use 2 boards for each channel with snap in capacitors (or 10mm lead space) up to 40mm width, bleed resistors and active rectifier.

P.S.: Sorry for reviving old thread.

As fas as i know there are no straight replacement or snap-in model derivative.

In terms of soundind and planning B24 as a fullrange or dedicated MF/HF amplifier i’ld prefer to put anytype relatively huge bulk caps far from B24 boards and place something like Elna RFS2 470u/50V straight on the boards. Of course if you know and like their sounding flavour.
