I didn't get a chance to take many pics; I end up manning my table most of the time and don't even get out to the talks.

the day was very nice and weather held up as good as we could hope for.

ti and I were in the same room but the acoustics were not good to really highlight the gear that was in there. we were also unlucky to be in a really loud 'speaker test room' of some sort where guys at one end kept insisting on playing their concert horn spkrs at full distorted volume, annoying quite a lot of attendees and forcing a lot of us out of the room just to be able to talk.

I ran into jason (writer at stereophile) and he interviewed a few of us, just like the last few years. really nice guy and fun to talk with.

and I'm told that some kind of local sports team won something important. around 9 or 10pm (as our group was leaving the restaurant we typically go to after this show) people were in their cars and honking their horns in excitement. I did find that pretty humorous, to be honest.

oh, and one more thing I learned. blinking blue lights get attention ;)

I had an xbee module connected to my pc (which connects my preamp over 2 RF/modems) and in its operation, it blinks a blue light and red light to show that its getting/sending serial data.

everyone kept asking about the blinking blue light with the small antenna. lol! well, at least its a conversation starter ;)

They were actually doing that. If you wanted to have your amp measured, you just walk up with it and it gets done! :)

What's the big line array that isn't the CBT36K?

Someone's home creation using NHT drivers. It's dipole (open back, at least for the woofers).

"Some of the best sound at the show" -- referring to the CBT36 speakers. :)

not sure.

I'm led to believe it was the monster cables.
