I am ready to start my Beta 24 build log.
Never had a good amplifier and since I have not so efficient AC I dicide my first DIY amp would be β24.
Saw it 2 years ago but was not ready to start, now I am.
I have a very high hopes for β24. :)

It would be a slow build and I hope to complete this project somewhere in year 2020.
Build would be class AB amp with a case close to AMB reference.

First ofcaurse I bought genuine boards from Mr. Ti Kan.
Then start to plan a home for amp, a case from ModuShop.
I want it look (or very close) like AMB reference build.
Front Panel Express files from Mr. Ti helped to order part of the case with a little correction to metric bolts.
I still need to order subpanels.

A few word about case parts.
1. I forgot to ask ModuShop to predrill mounting holes for handles so will drill them myself.
2. Heatsink mounting holes drill template was only 4.5 mm deep.
All of my standoffs screw are about 5.5 mm deep.
Not a big problem
Probably will cut standoffs or will find a replacement that will fit.
3. Not very happy with a slim 1mm steel covers. Will order 4mm aluminum covers next time and compare.

Next I start to adapt FPE subpanels files to DIN912 metric bolts.
To measure bolt heads I need a precise tool.
For this purpose and overall usefulnes in future I bought MITUTOYO 500-184-30 digimatic caliper.

Then start to plan IEC mounting teplate.
I want a shiny gold pated IEC inlet.
Decided that IEC inlet would be basic Furutech INLET(G).
Tried to came up with something universal if I decide to upgrade it in future but that task is not possible.
The most universal is what I have right now.

Some front-side mounting sizes according to datasheets:
Schurter 6100.3300 (AMB reference) - 20*28.5 mm R3 edge radius (3.5 mm screw mounting hole) (real size 20.5*27.5 mm)
Furutech INLET(G) - 20*28 mm R4 edge radius (3.4mm screw mounting hole) (real size I measure myself 19.2*27.1 mm)
Furutech FI-10(G) - 20*29 mm R2 edge radius (3.4mm screw mounting hole)
Furutech FI-06(G) - 20*31.5 mm R2 edge radius (3.2mm scre mounting hole) (real size 19.5*30.3 mm)
Oyaide Panel mounted IEC Male Inlet (IEC60320-C14) Power Inlet PP - 20*27.5 mm R4 edge radius (3.5mm screw mounting hole)

Epsilon 24 board would be powered by Sigma 24.
So I guess I don't need mounting hole for toroidal transformer.

Could not come up with a cool name for amp so leave my nickname there for now.
Or as final so my friend believe this is realy me who built it. :)

So I made some corrections to subpanels FPE files to my need and they are close to final.
They are in attach. You can open them only on Front Panel Designer 6.2 version and higher.
Suggestions are welcome.
