Brilliant, brilliant album. 'Gravitate to me' is my favorite track, that bass gives me neck tingles.

My son exposed me to this cd. I really like the first cut "Dayvan Cowboy".

BTW, this is a great idea. So far, the suggestions are great music and most are already in my 'favorites' library. Gabriel's 'So', Supertramp's 'Breakfast', Who's 'Next' and 'Tommy' are all classics.
I am already looking up and listening to everyone else's suggestions for all the ones that aren't known to me. Please keep it up. There is so much music to listen to!! My 25,000 song library is too small!!!

Cocteau Twins, Milk and Kisses. Glorious production, and Elisabeth Frasier's voice. Mmmm.

barnaclebeau-- you are on my list of replies to watch! I love Cocteau Twins, but my favorite is Four-Calendar Cafe. And, if you haven't heard Robin Guthrie's solo work, might I suggest "Continental"? If you like dreamy guitar, this is really good. (Although, I do miss Elisabeth's voice!).

You know, 'For Calendar Cafe' is the only Cocteau Twins album I DON'T have. I'll have to correct this deficiency soon.

I haven't heard of 'Continental,' I'll have to put that one on my list as well.

Speaking of Robyn Guthrie... About 10 years ago, I went to a show at the Casbah is San Diego, one of the bands was Tristeza. I'd ever heard of them, but they absolutely blew me away. It's instrumental, very...I don't know, 'glacial' is always a description that fits in my mind. They reminded me a lot of Cocteau Twins. Anyway, I found out later that they were doing some work with Robin Guthrie, it turned out to be a remix album, but it didn't do much for me. I do HIGHLY recommend their album 'Dream Signals In Full Circles,' it's one of my all-time favorites.

Really is good. I have heard that it is liked better because the sing-song is more easily grasped.

Already quite familiar with Tristeza. NOW I am really liking you!! OK, what are your 'Foundations'? Mine clearly revolve around The Chapman Stick, Adrian Belew, Robert Fripp, Frank Zappa and pure instrumental. But I never have settled on any one style or sound, so I like everything.
