There may be MCM coupons floating around but I didn't bother.
So MCM said & says "In Stock" on this stuff but my Fri afternoon order says "Backordered". I hope they are not doing what it looks like they are doing.
[edit: Called - website says "In stock" & let's everyone order [bundles?] yet MCM Raspberrry Pi [cases?] are back-ordered for weeks. No surprise really. [see my update below]]
Linux-works - Did you get confirmation of shipment (status not backordered)?

I have not gotton confirmation! I, too, suspect funnybusiness. for hours (and still, today) it says 'pending'.

I did not cancel my newark order since I was not SURE these guys were being straight. and they may not be. it does seem strange, huh?

At least 'pending' is better than 'back ordered'... Yours may actually ship.
I'd not placed an order for one anywhere yet, so I guess I deserve to wait:) And can always cancel the order.

Well my CC got charged today for all but $12 and still read "back ordered" (I'd ordered a bundle). So I called & it seems maybe only the funny R-Pi case is back-ordered as the rest of the order is supposed to ship today.
The phone operator on Sat. was not so clear.

mine is marked as shipped (I have a conf #). strange that I ordered it usps prio and they decided to ship ups gnd, instead.

then again, maybe I should be thankful for the extra shielding (lol).

it did ship and it should be here friday.

strange that its definitely listed as ups ground; but my order has it listed as usps-prio.

anyway, if the tracking info is correct, they really did ship. strange that newark still does not list them as in-stock.

a linux system that runs (well, boots) from sd-card. seems kind of funny. sd-card was never meant for such serious work ;)

They are really shipped apparently, got mine today - see attached pic of it using K400 wireless keyboard.
Works fine w/o hub, but would not boot w/$7 bundled keyboard even when moved to powered hub.
Now what to do with it:) Some fun little things I'm sure.

http://www.reddit.com/r/raspberry_pi/

These things are becoming very popular very quickly. I've seen no less than 10 different case designs for sale in the last week. The one machined from a solid block of aluminum with heatsink tabs touching the processors is my favorite ;)

Along those lines would it be possible to use a single S11 to power both a pi and a Gamma2 in one box?
