I don't think many people understand that this little setup right here puts you 98% of the way there.

i love it!
i'm very impressed with how well the high-performance version mini3 can drive the K601/K701. i haven't tried the 600ohm 240 DF yet, but as long as i have enough play on the pot, i'm sure it would sound great too. good luck trying to explain this to the "experts" over at HF
