I am building an M3+s11, and would like to use the e24 if possible. I would like to know if anyone has any advice on the best way to get a constant 12v in to the e24 without causing any issues for the s11 etc. Please forgive me if the answer is obvious! I'm a digital guy, and not just being able to program my way out of things is new to me! Thank you very much for your help!

Use a separate transformer that's wired to be always "on", such as using the σ24 PCB and the EI-30 9V transformer as mentioned at the ε24 website.

Sounds good! I'll Get em both and connect the primaries of both of them to the IEC. Hmmmm. I've got an idea for an all in one that has a s11 in one box and an M3, g1/2 in a second box. It might be possible to have the s11/s24/s25/e24 all running and connect up via a nice umbilical. That, plus I would like to run my LEDs using a 555 based circuit I designed to give it that Apple "breathing LED" look.

I think I just spent like $700 in my mind. Fun. Thanks for your fast answer as always!

Umm, the transformer to be used with the σ11 should not be wired directly to the IEC -- that would make the σ11 "always on" too, then what's the purpose of the ε24 and pushbutton switch?

You'll just have to trust me that in my mind there is a relay on the s11 transformer primary on the way to the IEC.

This is why I'm a developer and don't work for the poison control hotline. Failing to mention important items can get you in trouble there.
